Zombies are an enduring part of popular culture, especially in games. We're never too far from a film or game featuring the shuffling undead releasing, it seems. There are likely a few reasons for that. But for me, there's something perpetually creepy about their not-quite-human state that helps zombies remain unsettling even after repeated exposure.
